    TLDR Platelet-rich plasma can help treat scarring hair loss caused by Discoid Lupus Erythematosus.
    Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentration of plasma from a patient's blood containing platelets up to 7 times higher than normal plasma. It was originally used to improve connective tissue regeneration in orthopedic surgery. However, it has also proven to be beneficial in the treatment of androgenic alopecia (AGA), alopecia areata (AA), and other forms of non-scarring alopecia.
