The study concluded that the mechanical effect of injecting a solution, similar to subcision, was more crucial than the specific nature of the solution itself in treating atrophic acne scars. Additionally, ultrabiomicroscopic (UBM) sonography was suggested as a valuable objective assessment tool for evaluating treatment responses in such studies.
