TLDR Patients with non-scarring hair loss often have emotional disorders.
Nine years ago, researchers Mareeva A.N. and Kondrakhina I.N. from the State Research Center of Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology, Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, conducted a study on the psycho-emotional conditions of patients with non-cicatrazing alopecia, specifically circumscribed and androgenetic alopecia. They found that these patients commonly experienced psycho-emotional disorders. The study emphasized the importance of identifying preoccupying, depressive, and other pathological psychogenic conditions in patients with chronic alopecia to improve the quality of medical help provided to this group. The researchers used various identification methods to reach their conclusions.
