Rafika Kumalasari, Amar Ma'ruf, Deni Hendarto, Helmi Haris
The study assessed shampoo formulations with 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6% rosemary essential oil concentrations, focusing on quality and preference based on SNI 8860:2020 standards and sensory evaluations. The pH ranged from 6.35 to 6.55, and TPC values were between 5.426 × 10¹ and 7.319 × 10¹ CFU/ml, with no yeast or mold detected. Formulation X1 (2% rosemary oil) was most preferred for color and aroma, while X3 (6% rosemary oil) was favored for texture and comfort. Overall, formulation X1 was determined to be the best rosemary shampoo formulation.
