This study explored the health-related quality of life in Malaysian women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) through interviews with 7 women aged 29 to 50. The findings revealed that PCOS significantly impacts emotional well-being, physical appearance, identity, and social roles, with participants experiencing cultural stigma and psychological strain. The study highlights the need for improved medical education and patient-centered care to address these issues, suggesting that integrative and holistic approaches could prevent misdiagnosis and provide better support for women managing PCOS.
