TLDR The hair treatment materials are safe to use.
The study measured radon, radium, and uranium levels in 21 hair treatment samples from Brazil, the USA, and South Africa, collected in Najaf Governorate, Iraq. Using CR-39 detectors, radon concentrations ranged from 14.95 to 183.09 Bq/m3, with an average of 48.007.89 Bq/m3, and exhalation rates ranged from 4.15 to 50.86 mBq/m2.h, averaging 13.332.19 mBq/m2.h. Radium and uranium levels averaged 36.847.89 mBq/kg and 0.0450.009 ppm, respectively. All values were below the safety limits set by the ICRP and UNSCEAR, indicating that these hair treatment materials are not contaminated and are safe for use.
