    The study concluded that RANKL (Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor Kappa-Β Ligand) was essential for the organized growth of lymph nodes by promoting the proliferation of stromal cells. This process was crucial for the development and maintenance of lymphoid tissue microarchitecture, which is vital for immune defense. The research, involving 11 Rank-Tg and 8 wild-type mice, demonstrated that RANKL from hair follicles induced lymph node hyperplasia, which could be normalized by blocking RANKL. The findings suggested potential therapeutic targets for diseases involving lymph node dysfunction and provided insights into immune system development and homeostasis.
