TLDR Age is more important than BMI for IVF success in women with infertility and PCOS.
In women with infertility and polycystic ovary syndrome undergoing IVF, age is a more significant factor affecting live birth rate (LBR) than body mass index (BMI), and while anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels can aid in clinical decisions, they should not be the sole predictor of IVF success. The cumulative live birth rate (CLBR) is the most informative measure for conveying reproductive success to couples. Differences in study results may arise from variations in populations, sample sizes, and definitions of LBR and CLBR.
