This study evaluated the effectiveness of two hair restoration products on chemically damaged and virgin hair using microscopy techniques. The high-cost product, containing coconut oil and glycerol, was found to be the most effective, particularly for hair severely damaged by bleaching and color treatment. It significantly restored the hair's structural integrity, even aiding in the recovery of cuticular cells, more than anticipated.
