REVIEW ARTICLE ON SAMPRAPTI OF INDRALUPTA WITH SHAT KRIYAKALA & PATHOGENESIS OF ALOPECIA AREATA

    The review article discusses Indralupta, an Ayurvedic condition characterized by patchy hair loss, which is comparable to Alopecia Areata in modern medicine. Indralupta is primarily caused by the imbalance of Tridosha, especially Pitta and Vata, along with Rakta dushti. The article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the disease progression and intervention by explaining the samprapti (pathogenesis) of Indralupta using Shat Kriyakala, an Ayurvedic concept, alongside the modern pathogenesis of Alopecia Areata.
