    TLDR Finasteride and dutasteride have little effect on Type 2 Diabetes risk.
    The study indicates that the use of 5-alpha reductase inhibitors, specifically finasteride and dutasteride, has minimal impact on the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) when compared to tamsulosin in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
