Roaccutane Induced Acute Liver Failure

    Roaccutane (Isoretinoin), a drug used to treat severe acne, was associated with various side effects, including liver problems and hair loss. This case study described a young man who developed acute liver failure after taking Roaccutane for six weeks. Despite stopping the medication upon noticing jaundice, he experienced acute liver failure two months later, necessitating a liver transplant.
