The study investigated the effects of rosemary-derived products (essential oil, hydrolate, and alcoholic extract) on hair growth in male C57BL6//BIOU mice, comparing them to distilled water and 5% minoxidil. Over 5 weeks, hair growth was assessed using a growth scale and hair length measurement. Results indicated that the rosemary extracts (AE, ER, HR) significantly promoted hair growth compared to controls, with a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05). The study concluded that these rosemary extracts stimulate hair growth more effectively than minoxidil.
