Successful Treatment of Notoedres Cati-Infested Kitten Using Selamectin Spot-On: A Case Report

    TLDR A kitten with mange was cured using selamectin, shampoo, supplements, and ointment.
    A 2-month-old stray kitten with Notoedric mange, caused by Notoedres cati, was successfully treated using a single application of Selamectin 6%, weekly benzyl peroxide shampoo washes, daily omega supplements, and ayurvedic ointment. The kitten, initially presenting with severe skin lesions and alopecia, showed complete clinical recovery and regrowth of fur after 6 weeks of treatment, with negative skin scrapings confirming the absence of mites.
