TLDR A method was found to select hair follicle stem cells, and beta-catenin helps them grow and change.
The study established a method for selecting hair follicle stem cells using their strong adherence to collagen, which increased the number of K19 positive cells by 1.6 times and clone forming efficiency by 3.5 times compared to unselected cells. The research demonstrated that #beta#-catenin played a role in regulating the proliferation and differentiation of these stem cells, as evidenced by increased nuclear expression of #beta#-catenin in quickly-adhered cells.
