TLDR Self-affirmation therapy significantly reduces student anxiety before presentations.
The study investigated the impact of self-affirmation therapy on anxiety levels among 36 students at Stikes Panti Waluya Malang before structured task presentations. Using a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest without a control group, the research found that self-affirmation therapy significantly reduced anxiety levels, as indicated by a p-value of 0.000. This suggests that self-affirmation therapy effectively alleviates anxiety symptoms, promoting emotional calmness and a more positive outlook in students facing presentations.
