Progress was also seen in skin cancer treatments with immune checkpoint inhibitors and new topical treatments for actinic keratoses. The focus on maintaining skin health and preventing diseases was emphasized, with a call for research on skin biology and aging across different skin types. The journal "Skin Health and Disease" aimed to deepen understanding in these areas, encouraging interdisciplinary research and submissions on skin biology and aging.
