The study on skin diseases in Qassim Province, Saudi Arabia, analyzed data from 2775 patients and found that acne vulgaris was the most common diagnosis (49.2%), followed by hair disorders (15.6%) and dermatitis (9.2%). Females were more frequently affected by pilosebaceous and hair disorders, and the majority of patients were young adults aged 15-34 years. The study indicates a shift in the prevalence of skin disorders, with an increase in pilosebaceous disorders compared to previous years, and suggests the need for more extensive epidemiological studies for accurate prevalence estimates.
