Scalp Micropigmentation Corrective Treatment With Hair Transplant

A 31-year-old Malaysian-Chinese man with androgenic alopecia, Norwood stage 4, initially sought Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) treatment at a tattoo parlour, resulting in an unnatural-looking hairline. To correct this, he underwent a Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure, where 2,000 hair grafts were transplanted to create a new hairline. The grafts were distributed with 30 follicular units per cm² in the frontotemporal recess areas and 40 follicular units per cm² in the frontal and mid-scalp regions, providing a more natural appearance and addressing his hair loss effectively.
