These technologies allow for detailed analysis of cellular interactions and tissue remodeling at the implant site, revealing the coordination or miscommunication between immune and stromal cells. The body's response involves an initial inflammatory phase followed by chronic inflammation and fibrosis, which can compromise implant performance. By mapping these cellular behaviors, researchers aim to design more biocompatible implants and develop personalized strategies to improve clinical outcomes. Despite challenges such as high costs and data integration complexities, these innovations hold promise for transforming implant science, reducing adverse reactions, and improving patient outcomes.
