Sperm Extraction in Nonmosaic Klinefelter Syndrome Patients: A Case Series and Literature Review

    This study focuses on sperm extraction in nonmosaic Klinefelter Syndrome (KF) patients, a condition characterized by infertility and reduced hair growth due to an extra X chromosome. The retrospective study involved 16 patients who underwent micro-testicular sperm extraction (m-TESE) between 2016 and 2022. The sperm retrieval rate (SRR) observed was slightly lower than what is reported in existing literature. The study found that younger patients had a significantly higher likelihood of successful sperm retrieval, suggesting age as an important factor in the effectiveness of m-TESE for KF patients.
