The study introduces a sprayable biomimetic double wound mask (BDM) designed for scarless wound healing, addressing the limitations of current hydrogel masks. The BDM consists of a hydrophobic top layer and a hydrophilic bottom layer, which rapidly form a bilayered structure upon application. This structure provides strong tissue adhesion and adaptiveness, with the bottom layer releasing calcium ions for quick hemostasis and the top layer maintaining a moist, sterile environment. These features work together to suppress inflammation and promote angiogenesis, offering a promising approach for scarless healing.
