TLDR The Endotine Forehead-mini effectively lowers the hairline with lasting results and minimal risks.
This study assessed the outcomes of hairline lowering surgery using the Endotine Forehead-mini device in 100 predominantly female patients, averaging 31.7 years old. The procedure effectively lowered hairlines, with a 3.2% to 3.9% reduction in facial thirds ratios, and maintained stability over time. Complications were minimal, with transient alopecia in 8% of patients, successfully treated with topical minoxidil. Patient satisfaction was high, though 10% required additional surgery for issues like scar revision. The study highlights the Endotine Forehead-mini's effectiveness and safety, despite a higher complication rate than previous reports, and suggests further research in diverse populations.
