This study developed a standardized in vitro framework using human hair tresses to evaluate the performance of cosmetic hair care products under controlled conditions. The framework assessed various hair parameters, including breakage, tensile strength, shine, volume, and frizz control, after simulating real-world damage. Results showed that the test product improved hair breakage by 21.00 counts, tensile strength by 25437.01 gm/cm², shine by 2.15, volume by 499.66 cm², and reduced frizziness by 89.20 cm². In contrast, the control group showed no improvements. This framework offers a reliable method for assessing cosmetic hair products and supporting product claims.
