Adipose mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) are preferred for skincare applications due to their origin in the skin during fetal development and their ability to dampen inflammation in the postnatal environment. Unlike bone marrow and umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells, which are associated with inflammation and sterile conditions respectively, ADSCs and their secreted molecules are well-suited for addressing skin challenges such as injuries, toxins, and pathogens. The molecules from ADSCs, including those in exosomes and extracellular vesicles, are considered the safest and most effective for skin therapeutics, offering a consistent molecular profile across different donors.
