Treatment and Prevention of Traumatic Eyebrow Cicatricial Alopecia With Stem Cell Growth Serum

TLDR Stem cell serum can regrow eyebrow hair in chronic cases and prevent hair loss if used early after trauma.
The study discusses the use of stem cell growth serum (Calecim) as a treatment for traumatic eyebrow cicatricial alopecia (CA). Two cases were presented: one with chronic secondary CA and another with acute facial trauma without CA. After 6 months of daily topical application of the serum, the patient with chronic CA experienced eyebrow hair regrowth, while the patient treated early retained their eyebrow hair and did not develop CA. The findings suggest that stem cell serum is an effective, noninvasive option for hair regrowth in chronic CA and may prevent CA development when used early in acute trauma cases.
