A Single Center, Pilot, Double-Blinded, Randomized, Comparative, Prospective Clinical Study to Evaluate Improvements in the Structure and Function of Facial Skin with Tazarotene 0.1% Cream Alone and in Combination with GliSODin Skin Nutrients Advanced Anti-Aging Formula

    Corina Crysler, Lawrence Goldberg
TLDR Using tazarotene with GliSODin improves facial skin more than tazarotene alone.
This pilot study evaluated the effects of combining tazarotene 0.1% cream with GliSODin® Skin Nutrients Advanced Anti-Aging Formula (GAAF) on facial skin structure and function in 10 subjects over 90 days. The combination treatment showed significant improvements compared to tazarotene alone, with reductions in fine wrinkles, mottled hyperpigmentation, and overall photodamage. Additionally, the combination enhanced skin moisture and elasticity, demonstrating a significant clinical benefit. The study concluded that GAAF, when used with tazarotene, was safe and provided notable improvements in facial skin health.
