TLDR Venusia CeraPlus cream and lotion effectively reduce eczema severity and improve skin moisture.
This clinical study evaluated the effectiveness of Venusia CeraPlus cream and lotion as adjuvants in treating atopic dermatitis (AD) in 45 participants with mild-to-moderate eczema. Participants were divided into three groups: cream with standard of care (SoC), lotion with SoC, and SoC alone. Over 28 days, both the cream and lotion significantly reduced the AD severity index (ADSI) scores more than SoC alone, with reductions of up to 81.349% and 93.240% respectively. Skin moisturization improved significantly within 24 hours, with the cream and lotion showing greater improvements than SoC alone. The study concluded that both products effectively reduced AD severity, improved skin moisturization and barrier function, and alleviated itching and redness, while being well tolerated.
