TLDR Researchers made two new compounds that could be used for medicine.
In 1998, researchers synthesized two novel N-substituted 3-oxo-4-aza-5α-androstane derivatives with potential pharmacological applications. The first compound was synthesized with a 40.10% yield and had a melting point of 264-266 °C, while the second compound had an 81.38% yield and decomposed at 312-314 °C. Their structures were confirmed using MS, IR, and ¹H-NMR, providing a foundation for future pharmacological research. The study did not involve human subjects as it focused on chemical synthesis rather than clinical trials.
