    The study investigated a subtype of Telogen Effluvium associated with Dysesthesia (TED), characterized by severe scalp symptoms such as itch, pain, soreness, burning, or formication, in the absence of any inflammatory scalp disorder or medication associated with Telogen Effluvium or Dysesthesia. This condition is not typically associated with any scalp symptoms. The research found that patients with TED had lower B12 levels and suggested that they may respond to B12 supplementation.
