TLDR Temperaturas de 4 °C son ideales para conservar injertos capilares.
This study concludes that the optimal temperature for preserving follicular units during hair transplantation is 4–8°C, as it significantly reduces cellular metabolism, enzyme activity, and oxidative stress, thereby maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of the grafts. Temperatures above this range cause rapid cellular degradation, while those below 0°C risk ice crystal formation. The study recommends using calibrated refrigeration, continuous temperature monitoring, and refrigerated storage solutions to enhance graft viability and improve transplantation outcomes.
