This study investigated the effects of combining platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stromal vascular fraction cells (SVFs) on the inflammatory process in deep dermal burn injuries using 30 Wistar rats. The results showed that the local injection of PRP and SVF significantly increased polymorphonuclear (PMN) cells, lymphocyte counts, and COX-2 expression at 8 hours post-injury, indicating an acute inflammatory response. However, in the sub-acute phase, this combination treatment reduced PMN cells and lymphocyte counts more effectively than vaseline, although it did not significantly affect COX-2 expression. Overall, the PRP and SVF combination was effective in accelerating burn wound healing by modulating the inflammatory response.
