Application of Thulium 1927-nm Laser for Androgenic Alopecia Treatment in Indonesian Patients

The study investigates the use of a 1927-nm thulium laser for treating androgenic alopecia (AGA) in 10 Indonesian patients. The treatment involved two sessions of laser application without anesthesia, with evaluations conducted two weeks after the final session. Results showed significant clinical improvement in hair regrowth and patient satisfaction, with mean scores improving from baseline to follow-ups. No adverse events were reported, and pain during the procedure was minimal. The study concludes that thulium laser therapy is a safe and effective short-term treatment for hair regrowth in AGA patients.
