Case Report of Tinea Capitis Caused by Combined Microsporum Audouinii and Microsporum Canis

    TLDR A 10-year-old boy's scalp infection was cured with oral medication in two months.
    A 10-year-old boy exhibited small patches of alopecia and short broken hair, which were diagnosed as a rare case of tinea capitis caused by a combination of Microsporum audouinii and Microsporum canis. The diagnosis was confirmed through fungal culture and colony morphology analyses. The condition was successfully treated with oral griseofulvin over a period of two months.
