TLDR Microneedling can effectively improve hair growth in androgenetic alopecia.
This study assessed the effectiveness of microneedling in treating androgenetic alopecia in 90 patients from Jinnah Hospital Lahore, with stages III and above on the Hamilton Norwood scale. Participants underwent 5 microneedling sessions over 6 months, with final assessments conducted one month after the last session. Results showed that 51.1% of patients experienced more than 50% improvement in hair growth, indicating that microneedling can be an effective treatment for androgenetic alopecia.
