TLDR Tralokinumab for atopic dermatitis may cause eye issues and skin reactions, needing careful monitoring.
This study analyzed 1,770 adverse event (AE) reports related to tralokinumab, a treatment for atopic dermatitis, from the FAERS database. Notable AEs included eczema herpeticum, generalized exfoliative dermatitis, alopecia, skin exfoliation, and blepharitis, with most occurring within the first month of treatment. Compared to dupilumab, tralokinumab had a higher incidence of conjunctivitis and keratitis but fewer injection site reactions. The study highlights the need for clinical monitoring and further research to understand these AEs and improve patient safety.
