    TLDR Ashwagandha-derived nanovesicles may help promote hair growth.
    The study explores the potential of Ashwagandha-derived exosome-like nanovesicles (Ash-ELNs) to promote hair growth in human hair follicles ex vivo. Ash-ELNs were effectively absorbed by human dermal fibroblasts and dermal papilla cells, leading to increased production of VEGF-A, a growth factor linked to hair growth. The application of Ash-ELNs maintained hair follicles in the anagen phase and enhanced hair shaft production, indicating their promise as a natural treatment for hair loss. The study emphasizes the role of VEGF-A and suggests that Ash-ELNs could also promote angiogenesis. However, further clinical studies are necessary to validate their effectiveness in treating hair loss.
