TRICHOSCOPY IN ALOPECIA AREATA : A SUPER TOOL FOR DIAGNOSIS

    The study involved 50 patients with Alopecia areata and utilized trichoscopy to identify specific patterns associated with the condition. Trichoscopic findings included white dots in 90% of patients, black dots in 80%, and yellow dots in 50%, among other patterns. The study concluded that trichoscopy is an effective, non-invasive, and cost-efficient tool for diagnosing Alopecia areata, assessing disease activity, and determining severity.
