TLDR UC-MSC-Es help human hair cells grow.
The study investigates the effect of umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes (UC-MSC-Es) on the proliferation of human hair dermal papilla cells (HHDPCs). HHDPCs were treated with varying concentrations of UC-MSC-Es (1 × 10^10, 3 × 10^10, and 1 × 10^11 particles/mL) and compared to minoxidil treatments (3 and 10 μM) over 72 hours. The results, measured using the WST-1 assay, showed that UC-MSC-Es significantly enhanced cell proliferation compared to the control, with statistical significance marked by *p < 0.05. The study suggests that UC-MSC-Es could be a promising agent for promoting hair growth.
