TLDR Ultraviolet techniques help identify Grover’s Disease, which may be underdiagnosed in young people and females.
A retrospective single-center cohort study found that ultraviolet-induced fluorescence and sub-ultraviolet reflectance dermatoscopy effectively characterized the unique features of Grover’s Disease (GD) lesions. The study suggests that GD may affect younger individuals and females more frequently than previously reported, indicating potential underdiagnosis in these populations. Incorporating dermatoscopy into routine examinations could improve the detection and management of GD.
