Wound Healing Effects of New Cream Formulations with Herbal Ingredients

    The study aimed to evaluate the wound healing effects of two new cream formulations containing plant extracts compared to a placebo and a commercial cream, Madecassol®. The formulations included Levant Storax Cream (LSC) and Complex Cream (CC). Stability tests confirmed the creams' stability, and in vivo studies using rats demonstrated that LSC achieved the highest wound healing rates. CC showed better results than the placebo and control groups, but its effectiveness was similar to Madecassol®. The study highlights the potential of LSC in enhancing wound healing.
