TLDR Dermatologists often suffer from neck, shoulder, and back pain due to their work.
The review highlights that Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMSDs) are prevalent among dermatologists, primarily affecting the neck, shoulders, and lumbar area due to the nature of their work. Despite this, there is a scarcity of research specifically addressing WRMSDs in dermatologists, with most studies focusing on Mohs surgeons. The review underscores the need for more research to better understand these disorders and develop ergonomic solutions to prevent them.
