Anti-Ro antibodies, also known as anti-SSA antibodies, are immune proteins that mistakenly target and attack the body's own tissues, particularly in autoimmune conditions like Sjögren's syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). These antibodies can be associated with various symptoms, including dry eyes and mouth, skin rashes, and in some cases, complications during pregnancy.
