Social isolation makes mice more sensitive to alcohol's effects on brain function.
research Social isolation alters GABAA receptors plasticity and function: effect of voluntary consumption of ethanol
Social isolation changes brain receptors and makes ethanol more impactful.
research Midazolam Inhibits Hippocampal Long-Term Potentiation and Learning through Dual Central and Peripheral Benzodiazepine Receptor Activation and Neurosteroidogenesis
Midazolam impairs learning and memory by increasing neurosteroids through specific receptor activation.
research Ethanol Enhances Neurosteroidogenesis in Hippocampal Pyramidal Neurons by Paradoxical NMDA Receptor Activation
Ethanol boosts brain steroid production by activating NMDA receptors, affecting memory formation.
research Finasteride induces Cytoarchitectural Alterations in Hippocampus of Adult Male Wistar Rat: A Contributor to Neuropsychiatric Effects of Post-Finasteride Syndrome
Finasteride may cause memory problems by damaging the hippocampus.

5 / 1000+ resultscommunity Pyrilutamide vs enzalutamide. Same thing?( Especially for biochemists, farmacologists)
Researching whether pyri and enza, which are stereoisomers of each other, share the same features related to CNS penetration/GABA Inhibition; safety and efficacy when used topically at 0.5-1%; and cost comparison between the two treatments.
community Despite its straightforward mrchanism of action, it looks like pyrilitamide doesn't help regrow hair like finasteride does.
Pyrilitamide (KX-826) did not show significant improvement in hair count compared to placebo after 6 months. It's unclear if it can maintain hair at baseline.
community Pyrilutamide ,the molecule’s true nature
Pyrilutamide is a selective AR antagonist with a high binding affinity, making it effective in competing with DHT for androgen receptors. The 1% concentration is more effective than the 0.5%, but the latter may suffice for mild hair loss; the drug is considered a good option for those avoiding 5AR blockers due to side effects.
community Pyri - Spraying works better compared to using a dropper (Personal Observation)
Spraying pyrilutamide on the crown area shows noticeable improvement compared to using a dropper. Applying directly to the vertex is challenging without wasting the product.
community I don’t believe that Pyri doesn’t go systemic.
User experienced hair thickening with pyri but also side effects like reduced sex drive. Stopping pyri and returning to CB restored sex drive, suggesting pyri may go systemic or be incorrectly formulated.
