The V-sign, also known as the peace sign or victory sign, is a hand gesture where the index and middle fingers are raised and parted to form a "V" shape, while the other fingers are clenched. It is commonly used to signify peace, victory, or goodwill. In some contexts, particularly in the UK and other parts of the world, the orientation of the palm can change the meaning of the gesture, with the palm facing outward generally being positive and the palm facing inward being considered offensive.
