surgical removal of scalp tissue for hair transplantation

A Donor Strip, also known as Strip Harvesting or Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), is a hair restoration technique where a strip of scalp tissue containing hair follicles is surgically removed from the back or sides of the head. The individual hair follicles are then extracted from this strip and transplanted to areas experiencing hair loss. This method allows for the transplantation of a large number of grafts in a single session, but it does leave a linear scar at the donor site.
