condition where adrenal tumors cause excessive cortisol production
Adrenal-Dependent Hyperadrenocorticism (ADH), also known as adrenal-dependent Cushing's syndrome, is a condition where the adrenal glands produce excessive amounts of cortisol due to a tumor in one or both adrenal glands. This overproduction of cortisol can lead to symptoms such as weight gain, thinning skin, hair loss, and high blood pressure.
