Botox, also known as Botulinum Neurotoxin Type A, is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It is commonly used in both medical and cosmetic procedures to temporarily paralyze muscles, thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles and treating conditions such as chronic migraines, muscle spasms, and excessive sweating.
