Chronic Anovulation, also known as Persistent Anovulation, refers to the condition where a woman's ovaries do not release an egg during her menstrual cycle on a regular basis. This can lead to irregular or absent menstrual periods and is a common cause of infertility. It is often associated with hormonal imbalances, such as those seen in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
