condition where uterine lining thickens excessively
Endometrial Hyperplasia is a condition where the lining of the uterus, known as the endometrium, becomes too thick. This thickening is usually due to an excess of estrogen without enough progesterone, and it can increase the risk of developing endometrial cancer. Symptoms may include abnormal menstrual bleeding, such as heavy or prolonged periods.
